CHAIRMAN, AXIGHT
Khalifa Al Suwaidi is a Managing Partner at Lunate and brings over 23 years of experience to the firm. In his position as Managing Partner, he oversees Lunate’s fund investments, partnerships and strategy and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, Supervisory Committee and Board of Directors.
Prior to co-founding Lunate, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Growth Fund, managing more than US$35 billion in assets primarily across private market strategies. Previously, he held the position of Group Chief Investment Officer at ADQ. He has also held several senior managerial positions at Mubadala Investment Company and Abu Dhabi National Chemical Company.
In addition to his role as a Managing Partner at Lunate, Khalifa is Chairman, Non-Executive Director at Agthia Group, Vice Chairman, Non-Executive Director at Abu Dhabi Ports (AD Ports) and Vice Chairman, Non-Executive Director at TAQA.
Khalifa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University in the United States. He also has an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration with Distinction from Zayed University.

Seif is a Managing Partner at Lunate and brings over 27 years of experience to the firm. Seif oversees Lunate’s public markets strategy and operations and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, Supervisory Committee and Board of Directors.
Prior to co-founding Lunate, Seif served as the Chief Executive of Chimera Capital, where he was responsible for managing over US$16 billion of assets across multiple strategies and the launch of over 12 ETFs listed on local stock exchanges. Seif has both founded and helped manage multiple financial services companies, including EFG-Hermes, Chimera Capital and Afkar Capital, the first FSRA regulated entity in ADGM.
Seif is a graduate of the American University in Cairo.

Mujtaba is a Managing Partner at Axight, bringing over 17 years of experience in investment management and private equity to the firm. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Axight, Mujtaba served as CIO at Agthia Group, a leading food and beverage company listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX). He has previously held senior leadership roles at several global investment firms, including Fosun International, where he was Regional Investment Head for MENA, and the Evercare Group, a TPG-managed healthcare fund, where he was a Managing Director.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.

Jerry is a Managing Partner at Axight, bringing over 20 years of experience in investment banking and private equity to the firm. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
He began his career at Goldman Sachs in New York and later moved to Hong Kong, where he was Co-Head of Asia Pacific at Morgan Stanley, focusing on private equity and distressed investments. Prior to Axight, Jerry was a partner at EQT Partners, where he co-led EQT's Asia mid-market private equity investments. He has also held numerous board director positions in companies across Asia, Europe and the US.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Finance from Renmin University of China, a Master's degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Columbia University.
GENERAL COUNSEL
Robert is the General Counsel of Axight, where he leads all aspects of the firm’s legal function.
He began his career at Linklaters and has advised on private equity transactions across London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi.
Robert is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales. He holds degrees from the University of Durham and the University of Law.

Viola is a Principal at Axight. She brings over 11 years of experience to the firm.
Prior to Axight, Viola was Senior Vice President of Consumer and Healthcare at Warburg Pincus.
Viola holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Hong Kong.
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Ahmed is a Senior Associate at Axight focusing on private equity investments. He brings over eight years of experience to the firm.
Prior to Axight, Ahmed worked at Goldman Sachs in London as part of the Natural Resources M&A team, following earlier roles in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in Dubai and Citi in London.
He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Lund University in Sweden.
ASSOCIATE
Zuhair is an Associate at Axight and a member of the private equity investment team. He has experience in investment banking and private equity, with a transaction record spanning Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Axight, Zuhair worked in the infrastructure M&A and debt advisory team at DC Advisory in London. He began his career in the leveraged finance division at NatWest Markets.
Zuhair holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Politics from the London School of Economics and a Master’s degree in Management from Imperial College London.
ASSOCIATE
Joseph is an Associate at Axight, focusing on private equity investments. He brings over four years of experience to the firm.
Prior to joining Axight, Joseph was with Anchor Equity Partners, where he focused on buyout and growth equity investments across Korea and North Asia, as well as portfolio management. He began his career in investment banking at Nomura in Hong Kong.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
